An internet forum allows you to register as a member and leave either your own input or respond to entries left by other members.
Membership is Free

Instructions on how to become a forum member
To be able to respond to or make your own post/thread you will need to register as a member.
Use the menu bar to enter the forum pages.
To register - click on the REGISTER button at the top of the page.
This will bring up a form requiring you to enter your chosen name, email address and password. We will not make your email public.
When leaving the forum please ensure that you LOGOUT using the button at the top of the page.
Once you have registered on subsequent visits you need only to LOGIN - you will be asked to input your chosen name and password.
Again, please remember to logout when you exit the forum.

What is an Avatar?
An Avatar is the little picture/illustration shown to the left of forum posts under a members name.
All members can choose whether they wish to add one of these or not.
There are a selection of images built-in to the forum system so you don't have to have access to an image of your own but equally you can upload your own choice of image from either a website (url) or your own computer.
Your own image would need to be 100x100 in size as this is the maximum space available.

Instructions on how to add an avatar to your forum posts
Login
Select the 'Member Centre' button shown at the top of the forum.
On the left you will see a menu -

Under the heading of 'Edit Profile' you will find 'AVATAR SETTINGS' - click on this and a screen will be shown where you can select (by clicking through the menus given and see image previews of) the built-in pictures or upload your own image.
(use the browse button to locate your image if it is on your computer)

If you do not wish to use an avatar then use the square/check option on the lower part of the page (but above the save button)

SAVE your selections with the 'save' button at the bottom.
To return to the forum click on the 'Home' button at the top of the page.
