KERBSIDE RECYCLING IN CHINEHAM

Chineham residents have a green wheeled bin into which they can place currently accepted recyclables. It is very important that only the items which can be recycled are put out for collection. These should be placed loose into your container and not wrapped in a plastic carrier bag or black sack. This makes them easier to sort.
Recycling collection is fortnightly as part of the kerbside collections provided by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
Recycling bins should be placed outside by 7am on the morning of collection.

Recyclables Currently Collected

  • All clean paper , including newspaper, magazines, junk mail, envelopes

  • All cardboard - brown boxes (please flatten), cereal boxes, and other cardboard food packaging

  • Food tins , eg. baked beans, dog food (please clean)

  • Drink cans , eg. fizzy cola cans

  • Plastic bottles - drink, milk,
    cleaning products, shampoo
    bottles, etc.
(please remove the lids and put these with your black bin waste)
