The first meeting of the Chineham Safety Panel met at the beginning of March.

Priorities for the next three months are

Continue to reduce ASB in the Simons Road area and at Hartswood bus stop.
To reduce burglary and vehicle crime.
To increase provision of activities for children and teenagers in Chineham.

The panel includes local councillors, neighbourhood watch, police, school & housing association representatives etc

If you have any issues to raise or would like to contribute input regarding the current priorities any member of the panel would be delighted to hear from you.

All very well but that meeting wasn't that well attended was it!

What happened to representation from Downland for instance? and given Simons Road is their patch makes their absence even more noticable!!

Whilst the cooler months saw a bit of a fall off in activity in that area it seems to be one of the places to be during the later hours and with today's litter obviously still a lager drinkers haven!
