Very Slow Post

It is disgraceful that residents in Taylor's Farm and Binfields still have nowhere local (within reasonable walking distance) to post their letters and cards.  This is particularly unfortunate when the Royal Mail's business is declining and they are whinging about competition from the internet.

A little extra attention to simple management of their services would surely help.   Martin Biermann has made numerous attempts to see some progress on this matter and the most recent response of any meaning is attached below.
Since that seemingly helpful reply, all further communications have produced merely acknowledgments of the message chasing an answer.  It really is pathetic.

" Dear Sir

Thank you for your further email concerning posting facilities in these developments. I apologise for the delay in responding to you.

I have again spoken to the Collections Manager of this area who has advised that a visit to the development is scheduled for tomorrow 17th July. As soon as an outcome has been agreed upon regarding this matter I will of course contact you again.

Regards

Pamela xxxxx
